Now this is a hot topic does alcohol kill your six pack abs?
In todays society alcohol is very prevalent and some in media releases they even say that in small doses it can actually be beneficial. But what is of major concern too us six pack ab builders is whether alcohol has a detrimental effect on carving that hard ripped stomach. Lets hear what Vince Delmonte the six pack guru has to say about this burning topic.

Much research has been done into the seemingly impossible task of “spot reduction” of body fat.
You know…like how to burn fat directly off of your belly WITHOUT taking away from the butt you’re so proud of.
While experts have claimed that there’s no way to “spot reduce” where you’re able to take of the fat, recent studies are showing that it may in fact be possible.
For example, scientists have studied exactly WHERE fat is burned from in order to fuel certain activities.
It seems that there may be a unique connection where the fat cells in the location of the muscles being exercised may actually provide the bulk of the long term fuel for your training.
This is NOT definitive yet, but it holds promise.
It also supports my theory (and again, this is ONLY my theory!) that your MIND-MUSCLE CONNECTION plays a STRONG role in how much, and WHERE you can burn fat.
In this article, I reveal a unique tip that I use to increase the “mind-muscle” connection to (again, in theory) burn more belly fat from your training by implementing a crazy “cardio fat blaster”…
If you have ever wasted (I mean spent) any sort of time on a bodybuilding forum than you have seen the countless posts on, “Should I do cardio if I am trying to build muscle?”
The (silly) debate will never end and typically results in you destroying your frame that once had potential by attempting to bulk up but getting fat instead. Look at cardio as a tool to help you get muscular without getting fat and a pot belly at the same time. Bulking up does NOT have to equal getting fat.
Watch the 4 minute gaining muscle and losing fat video below that clearly shows how to incorporate cardio
into a muscle building routine and address this confusion.

The main reason I addressed this issue is because I’m sick and tired of you completely losing your waist line, getting a double chin and gaining weight that only makes you look “bulky” and not ripped and muscular because you listened to someone who told you to not do cardio if you want to build muscle.
Your waist line will thank you for watching this video
What is the secret to a long and healthy life? It is in the food that we eat. As you well know, all foods are not created equal. Choosing and eating the right foods may help increase your life expectancy as well as the quality of your life.
Here are ten of the top power packed foods designed to give you energy, vitality and all around good health!
1. Beans – If they give you gas, take precautions before you eat them. Soaking them first can help. Beans of all kinds (kidney, navy, lentils, chickpeas, Northern) are high in protein. This is plant protein so it contains very little fat, carbs and calories. If fiber is a problem in your diet, eating a healthy portion of beans each day can keep your digestive system healthy.
2. Oatmeal – Oatmeal is coming into popularity as a food that lowers blood cholesterol. You can make it yourself with rolled oats or eat the instant kind if you are in a hurry. Oatmeal is a filling grain that also provides much needed fiber to keep hunger at bay and your blood sugar constant. (more…)
If you’re interested in discovering some areas where you may be going wrong in your abs training and your attempts at losing stomach fat, I have an interview for you below that you’ll want to read.
In it, Men’s Health Magazine writer Craig Ballantyne, grills Abs-Expert Mike Geary, author of the internationally popular book, The Truth about Six Pack Abs, on the topic of abs training and the biggest myths and mistakes he sees in this field.
Here’s a copy of the first half of the interview below. In this part of the interview today, we’ll just deal with training aspects.
In a couple days, I’ll send out the rest of the interview, which Craig and Mike covered the nutrition aspects we need to consider to lose stomach fat and get those hidden abs to show. Enjoy!
CB: Okay Mike, so where does the average man or woman go wrong when it comes to training abs?
MG: Most people are probably going to be surprised with this answer. In their quest for ’six pack abs’, the biggest mistake I see people making is wasting WAY too much of their time training their abs directly… pumping away with all kinds of different abs-specific exercises.
I’m sure you know what I’m referring to. The person is trying so hard to get those abs to show, that they’re spending almost all of their time in the gym with hundreds of reps of various crunches, leg raises, twisting exercises, etc. Meanwhile, all of that wasted time directly training the abs could have been better spent on a properly designed full body workout program that would elicit a much better metabolic response and increase the fat-burning hormone levels in their body as well. Do you really need cardio? Are we been conned by a traditional way of thinking. Here we address if we really need cardio to burn fat, get lean and in get in great shape.
Most fitness buffs, weekend warriors, or anyone trying to get in shape or lose body fat, consider it a fact that they need “cardio” exercise to accomplish these goals. They would never even question it.
However, I’m not only questioning it, I’m going to refute it! In fact, you may be surprised to know that some of the leanest and meanest people I know (men and women), NEVER do any type of normal or traditional cardio. And I’ve spent over 15 years working out in various gyms, and hanging out with athletes of all sorts, so I’ve seen it all.
I will say that there can be a place for low-moderate level cardio for really overweightor deconditioned people, but even in those cases, there can be more effective methods.
But what exactly is “cardio”?
Most people would consider cardio to be pumping away mindlessly on a treadmill, riding a stationary bike, or coasting on an elliptical machine, while watching the TV screen at their state of the art gym. This is what I call “traditional cardio”. Hmmm, no wonder the majority of people get bored with their workouts and give up after a couple months without seeing results. (more…)
